Darwin Day 2012

The J.F. Crow Institute for the Study of Evolution is gearing up for Darwin Day 2012, which promises to explore what "bizarre biology can teach us about evolution." The event is scheduled for February 9-11, in honor of Charles' Darwin's birthdate: February 12, 1809.

What kinds of "bizarre biology" can you experience? Check out the Darwin Day website for details and teacher resources. Highlights include a collection of short video clips about evolutionary biology, a keynote lecture about deep sea octopuses, a scavenger hunt at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, and much more.
