The Clean Lakes Alliance has released its first State of the Yahara Lakes report. The report is a "collection of data from scientists, parks and beach managers, local residents and business owners all of whom share an interest in cleaning up the Yahara Watershed and its Lakes." The Yahara Watershed includes Mendota, Monona, Waubesa, and Kegonsa. The Clean Lakes Alliance is a local nonprofit dedicated to cleaning up Dane County lakes and water resources.
